Part of MediaPro Group, the largest media consortium in Romania, MediaPro Pictures is the most important player in the Eastern European film & television market. Founded in 1998, MediaPro Pictures produced or co-produced more than 50 features, national or international productions, & over 700 hours of original TV programs (TV series & shows) per year. These include: CALIFORNIA DREAMIN’ (ENDLESS) awarded with Grand Prix in Un Certain Regard section of 2007 Cannes Film Festival; FIRE & ICE (2007), the first feature produced by a Romanian company for the US market; JOYEUX NOEL, the 2006 OSCAR nominee for Best Foreign Film; AN AMERICAN HAUNTING, starring Sissy Spacek & Donald Sutherland (2004).
