Introduction The diversity of locations in Spain ranges from the Mediterranean coast to snow-covered mountains, along with islands, beaches, volcanoes, forests, rivers, deserts and highly interesting cultural sites. Landscapes of historical interest with signs of Greek, Roman, Moorish, Medieval or Modernist cultures, among others, can be found. Towns range from old rural or fishing villages to Olympic, international modern cities. Spain also offers a high quality, experienced crew, and state of the art facilities. Mild weather and bright light all the year round.Permits Due to local government belief in the importance of the film industry, most areas have a Film Commission or Film Office in charge of shooting permits, scouting and locations search. They can be found at Tourist Offices, Culture and Economical Promotion Council departments as well as at independent (public or private) institutions. For general information about shooting in Spain contact the Spain Film Commission (see details above). |
