Introduction
Taiwan’s varied scenery includes mountain peaks, rolling hills and plains, basins and coastlines. Spectacular locations include the East Rift Valley, the cliffs at Taroko Gorge, Sun Moon Lake and Jade Mountain (north-east Asia’s highest peak). In principle, foreign companies are not required to apply for film permits, nor do crew of purely foreign film companies need to apply for work permits. Taiwan allows UK citizens 30 days visa-free entry. Tax breaks/incentives
