FremantleMedia North America appoints new vice president
Alex Demyanenko has joined FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) in the newly created role of senior vice president, non-fiction development and programming.
Starting the role with immediate effect, Demyanenko will report to Thom Beers, CEO, who announced the news.
In the new role, Demyanenko will oversee development and programming for the cable networks. Overseeing the development and programming for the broadcast networks is FremantleMedia’s Julie Uribe, senior vice president of non-scripted development.
Beers said: “Alex has an incredible reputation as a creative force in the industry. We couldn’t be more excited to have Alex join us at FremantleMedia as we continue to ramp up our cable development”.
Prior to joining FremantleMedia, Demyanenko, a graduate of UCLA, held the position of senior vice president at Shed Media US, where he produced shows such as Basketball Wives for VH1.
