Stone’s career has spanned over forty years, in which he has been responsible for some of cinema’s most iconic features. His prolific canon of work ranges from visceral portrayals of war to political biopics and historical epics.

Titles such as Midnight Express; Platoon; Born on the Fourth of July; Wall Street; Natural Born Killers; The Doors; Alexander; Nixon and The People vs. Larry Flynt have ensured a large collection of gongs for Stone over the years, including numerous Academy Awards and now KVFF’s Crystal Globe for Outstanding Contribution of World Cinema.
