Keshet International (KI) of Israel and Northern Pictures of Australia have announced they are setting up a new venture, Keshet Australia.

KI is the global distribution and production arm of Keshet Media Group, which will bring the company’s burgeoning slate of both scripted and unscripted formats to TV viewers in Australia and New Zealand.

Under the new deal, Northern Pictures will have the rights to over 50 KI projects, to be produced in the territory under the umbrella of Keshet Australia.

David Haslingden, owner of Northern Pictures made the announcement with KI MD Alon Shtruzman, who said “We are extremely excited to bring KI's slate to Australia and New Zealand, and I can't think of a better partner than David for this venture. This year many of Keshet's shows will be produced across numerous countries and continents.”
