A second trailer for Martin Scorsese’s Wolf of Wall Street has been released, showing more of the film’s humour and story of excess. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker whose rise to success leads him to a world of drugs, crime and corruption.

From Paramount Pictures, it marks Scorsese’s and DiCaprio’s fifth collaboration together (DeNiro holds the record – he has made eight films with the director).

Scheduled for release in early 2014, the film is based on the best-selling memoir by Jordan Belfort, who set up a Wall Street business which turned him into a millionaire at the age of 25, but whose life soon started to crumble after getting a taste for the party lifestyle.

The supporting cast includes stars Jonah Hill (donning a rather fetching pair of false teeth), Matthew McConaughey, Jean Dujardin and Rob Reiner.

The Wolf of Wall Street was shot predominantly in New York. For information about filming there, click here to read our production guide.

We think the film looks like a cross between The King of Comedy and The Departed – what do you think? Let us know by commenting below or by visiting our Facebook page.
