Brie Larson finds Room in Toronto
American actress and singer/songwriter Brie Larson is heading to Canada to film her starring role in Room, directed by Lenny Abrahamson.

American actress and singer/songwriter Brie Larson is heading to Canada to film her starring role in Room, directed by Lenny Abrahamson.
Abrahamson, whose recent credits include the Michael Fassbender-starrer Frank, directs from a screenplay by Emma Donoghue, author of the original best-selling novel on which the feature is based.
Shooting starts in mid-October in Toronto on the film, which comes from producers Ed Guiney of Element Pictures in Ireland and Canada-based David Gross.
The harrowing story centres on 5 year-old Jack who is raised in a shed by a young mother (Larson) who protects him from the reality that they are actually being held captive long term and tells him that what he sees on TV is not real.
