The first speakers are confirmed as registration opens for The Media Production Show 2017, organised in London by KFTV’s parent company Media Business Insight.

This year the event takes place on 13 and 14 June at Olympia in west London and a range of exhibitors and seminars will cover all areas of the film and TV production process.

Among speakers already confirmed are Tom Hugh-Jones, series producer of the BBC’s epic documentary series Planet Earth II, who will talk about the years of work that went into producing the international hit.

Harry and Jack Williams, founders of Two Brothers Pictures, the shingle responsible for shows like Fleabag and The Missing, will deliver the keynote speech on 13th June.

Technical insight will come from Sonja Klaus, production designer on Tom Hardy’s period drama Taboo, and from director of photography Adam Etherington, whose credits include Poldark and Stan Lee’s Lucky Man.

“We had a phenomenal launch in 2016, which saw 4,900 visitors attend the show and more than 150 speakers take part in our popular seminar programme,” says Charlotte Wheeler, event director of The Media Production Show.

“The move to Olympia in west London will allow more space for new exhibitors and bigger seminar theatres for our visitors to enjoy.”

More names will be confirmed over the coming weeks, so check in at www.mediaproductionshow.com to find out more and to register for free attendance to the show.
