Kevin Bacon to film crime pilot in Boston
Kevin Bacon will co-star with Aldis Hodge in a pilot for Boston-set TV crime drama City on a Hill, which is scheduled to film in the Massachusetts state capital in the coming weeks.

Kevin Bacon will co-star with Aldis Hodge in a pilot for Boston-set TV crime drama City on a Hill, which will film in the Massachusetts state capital in the coming weeks.
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are executive producers on the show, which is based on the true story of a New York District Attorney who joined forces with a corrupt but venerated FBI agent to take on a Boston crime family in the early 1990s.
The history of Boston’s criminal underworld has inspired movies such as Black Mass that dramatised the story of notorious gangster James ‘Whitey’ Bulger and featured Bacon as a co-star (pictured). Ben Affleck also produced his period crime film Live by Night partly in the city.
Boston native Mark Wahlberg also films regularly in his home city. His latest comedy sequel Daddy’s Home 2 spent nearly $20m shooting locally.
