Undercover Boss

Independent distributor ALL3MEDIA International has announced that their hit series Undercover Boss is to reach China, as a major new format licence has been signed on behalf of their sister company Studio Lambert.

The deal will mean that the factual show – which sees senior business executives working undercover on the coalface - will be produced locally in China by Dragon TV, part of the Shanghai Media Group. Initially, 13 x 60 episodes will be produced.

The agreement means that the number of territories that have a format licence deal to produce the show has risen to 18.

Undercover Boss is already a huge international success, airing in over 200 territories including Canada, Australia, Denmark and France.

Stephanie Hartog, EVP international formats at ALL3MEDIA International said: “We are delighted to be working with one of China’s leading broadcasters who have already proven themselves to be a modern and dynamic partner and we are delighted to be growing our business partnership with Dragon TV and Shanghai Media Group into a new genre for China.”
