Norwegian Minister of Culture Hadia Tajik said of the new hire: “With Guldvog we have a sharp leader, who can continue Refseth’s good work. His experience in the culture industry, film distribution and his knowledge of technological developments in culture will be important in the challenges the film area will face in the future.”

Other changes at the NFI include the departure of Ivar Køhn, who leaves the institute to head up the drama division at the government-owned Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, NRK, the largest media organisation in Norway.
