Actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are filming in Atlanta, Georgia, for a new sequel to their Bad Boys crime thriller franchise.
Reportedly set in Miami, the film follows a new adventure for a pair of Florida detectives as they tackle a brutal drug cartel. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah direct.

The first two Bay Boys films – released in 1995 and 2003 respectively – were shot largely on location in and around Miami.
In the years since the release of the second movie, filming incentives have become a key economic driver in Hollywood production. Florida has not offered effective state-level support for movies or TV shows for several years.
Most big-budget film shoots with Florida-set stories shoot elsewhere in the US.
Atlanta, on the other hand, has become one of the top filming locations in the US for high-profile productions and is seen as a flexible double for story settings across America.
