The country’s land area of almost 7,000 square miles (including Kuwait's 2,590 sq km share of the Neutral Zone) is almost entirely flat desert. The spring and autumn climate is pleasant and mild, with rain possible in the spring, but summers tend to be long, hot and dry, with sandstorms likely in June and July and high humidity in August. Summer daytime temperatures range between 43°C and 47°C (110°F and 120°F). Winters are short and cool with, again, the likelihood of rain. As well as Kuwait’s desert landscape, potential shooting locations include the Al-Oqeila and Messilah beaches and the Sea Front, which includes the coastal area of the Salmiya District.
