As well as being the Parish Church of Covent Garden, we are also affectionately known as The Actors Church because of our long association with the theatre community.
This beautiful church has an attractive churchyard where we have regular worship, concerts, interviews, musicals, plays, cabaret performances, literary and theatrical events, and seek to further conversation and local partnerships wherever possible and in whatever ways we can. It is a good base for those filming in Covent Garden.
The Church makes an excellent scale theatre/concert venue, seating 254 persons. We have 2 chorus dressing rooms, and a professional sound and lighting system which meets most groups' needs.
On the 25th of May 2013, Barbara Windsor launched our appeal to save and restore the South Courtyard. The significant subsidence has now been renovated and the South courtyard renamed The Diamond Jubilee Garden in honour of the 60th Anniversary of the Coronation of HM The Queen.
Last year, the gardens have hosted over 300 corporate entertainments/events.
