Will Mendes return to direct Bond?

Skyfall has been by far the most successful and profitable James Bond film since the beginning of the 007-era when Sean Connery still looked good in Speedos. Now the key to its recent success, director Sam Mendes, might return to the set for Bond 24.

As well as breaking international box-office records, Skyfall was named the best film of 2012 by many film critics and its actors and crew have managed to take home many awards.

It is therefore no surprise that its studio bosses are keen to keep its director, the British Sam Mendes on board for their next 007 adventure.

Mendes, most known for his film American Beauty, is now rumored to be in talks with the producers of the Bond films, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, about possibly directing the next movie.

Initially Mendes told the press that he didn’t want to return to direct the 24th Bond, however, it seems he could be changing his mind. Here at KFTV we certainly hope so.
