Independent production and distribution company Off the Fence is opening an office in LA to support its involvement with US networks.

Independent production and distribution company Off the Fence is opening an office in LA to support its involvement with US networks.
The new West Coast production office is in the Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood, and will build and develop the company’s relationships within the US broadcast market. The first production lined up from the shiny new LA office is MTV’s Generation Cryo.
Off the Fence Productions currently has several pilots on their development slate; their recent commissions include Stan Lee’s Superhumans (A&E) and Obese and Expecting (TLC). The company was founded in 1994, and specialises in non-fiction programming for the international market.
They currently have offices in Amsterdam, the UK, Cape Town, New York, Germany and Singapore.
Ellen Windemuth, founder and owner of Off the Fence, said: “Off the Fence has continued to go from strength-to-strength in the US – both in terms of producing great programming for the networks, and taking on the distribution of content to the international marketplace. Los Angeles has a second-to-none talent pool when it comes to scripted entertainment and production for the digital media sector.”
