In its first year it will include 16 educational sessions with experts from around the globe discussing a wide range of topics that may include co-productions in China and India, working with sales agents, production incentives and working with American guilds.

“The new AFM Producers Forum will provide experienced producers with knowledge on a wide range of topics that are most important to working professionals along with exclusive social activities.” said Jonathan Wolf, AFM’s managing director.

The AFM conference, which is scheduled to take place from 8-12 November, also announced its topics and schedule.

The conference’s main topics are set to include: finance, pitching, production, marketing and distribution. The sessions will focus more on issues including crowdfunding, crowdsourcing audiences, film festivals and VoD.

Every year the AFM presents a delegation of 8000 industry professions from around the world with eight days of deal-making on films in every stage of development and production, as well as screenings, conferences, networking and parties.
