Stephen Hawking biopic Theory of Everything underway
Only last week the feature about footballer Pele starting shooting in Brazil, and now filming is underway in the UK on the Stephen Hawking film Theory of Everything, with Eddie Redmayne playing the famous physicist.

It’s been a busy few weeks in terms of biopic movies. Only last week the feature about footballer Pele starting shooting in Brazil, and now filming is underway in the UK on the Stephen Hawking film Theory of Everything, with Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables) playing the famous physicist.
The drama comes from Working Title Films and centres on Hawking’s student years at Cambridge when he fell in love with his now wife, arts student Jane Wilde (played by Felicity Jones).
At the helm is James Marsh, whose credits include the acclaimed documentary films Project Nim and the Oscar-winning Man on Wire. Anthony McCarten is on writing duties, with the screenplay inspired by Jane Hawking’s memoir Travelling to Infinity: My life with Stephen.
Theory of Everything is due to be released in 2015.
