A sweeping, cinematic online spot for GE has been released, promoting the use of tidal turbines to harness energy.
Location Scotland’s moving image service, LS Motion, has collaborated with BBDO, Greenpoint Pictures and K&R Media on the ad, which opens with grand sweeping shots of the coastline before turning to atmospheric, dimly-lit close-up sequences of the Orkney islanders as they describe their vision of the future.
Then follows a stunning shot of tidal turbines and finally another overhead sequence of waves crashing against the cliffs and coastline. A drone was used for some of the shots, handled by LA Media. The spot was filmed in early March on the Scottish island of Orkney.
The spot has already notched up nearly 500,000 hits on YouTube; you can watch it below.
