Lexus shines bright in Kuala Lumpur
Lexus have launched the third offering in their Amazing in Motion campaign, this time featuring dozens of performers in LED suits flying in the air and dangling from some the highest buildings in Kuala Lumpur.

Lexus have launched the third offering in their Amazing in Motion campaign, this time featuring dozens of performers in LED suits flying in the air and dangling from some the highest buildings in Kuala Lumpur. You can watch the ad below as well as some fascinating behind-the-scenes footage.
Entitled Strobe and created by full service agency CHI&Partners, the commercial was shot over seven nights in April and took 40 engineers from Thailand to erect and operate the gigantic rigging system from which the performers were suspended.
Directed by Adam Berg of Stink Productions, filming took place only at night so time was tight to ensure all the shots were in the can before sunrise.
Producers hired the talents of Hollywood costume designer Vin Burman (Batman) to design the LED suits, and the lighting itself was controlled and choreographed via a bespoke computer system created by technical director Adam Wright.
Mark Templin, executive vice president of Lexus International, said: “We created this global series of projects to showcase our imagination through innovative design and technology. It builds on Lexus’ ambition to connect with the hearts as well as the minds of consumers.”
