Woody Harrelson is one of many star names attached to Now You See Me 2, which is set to film in Macau and the UK.
The Lionsgate feature is a sequel to the 2013 comedy caper thriller which was directed by Louis Leterrier. The follow up will see Harrelson being joined by Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine. This time around, Jon M. Chu is in the director’s chair, calling the shots from a screenplay by Ed Solomon and Pete Chiarelli.
Alex Kurtzman and Bobby Cohen produce the feature, which is currently slated to start filming in November.
China’s film industry has been very much in the news this week, with the announcement that the country has signed a co-production treaty with India.
