New Mexico is to be the main location for War on Everyone, an upcoming feature film starring Garrett Hedlund and Michael Pena currently gearing up for a spring shoot.
John Michael McDonagh (Calvary, The Guard) will direct from his own screenplay, which centres on two corrupt cops who finally come across a criminal who is seemingly more dangerous than they are…
The feature comes from producers Flora Fernandez Marengo and Chris Clark who, along with McDonagh and Elizabeth Eves, run UK-based production company Reprisal Films.
New Mexico is already making location headlines for hosting production on The Scorch Trials, sequel to the young adult, post-apocalyptic thriller The Maze Runner. Shooting on the Wes Ball-directed feature is underway in and around Albuquerque and is due to continue until late January, utilising at least 250 local crew, 19 New Mexico actors and around 1800 extras.
