KFTV will be chairing two panel discussions at BVE, the annual broadcast and production technology show held at the ExCeL Centre in London, UK, from Tuesday 24 until Thursday 26 February.

KFTV will be chairing two panel discussions at BVE, the annual broadcast and production technology show held at the ExCeL Centre in London, UK, from Tuesday 24 until Thursday 26 February.
On Tuesday, our publishing director Doug Marshall will be chairing a seminar entitled How to film on location: What are the practical considerations?
A panel of experts - including Harriet Lawrence, location manager for feature films such as the upcoming feature Suffragette, Harvey Edgington, head of filming and locations at the National Trust and James Waller, head of the Metropolitan Police's film unit - will discuss everything from pre-production planning to road closures and the best ways of looking after crew and equipment.
This panel will take place at the Production Theatre from 12.50pm-13.35pm on Tuesday 24 February.
On Thursday film and TV journalist Josh Wilson will host a seminar entitled Practical advice for filming abroad.
During this session a panel of experts - including Chris Newman, producer for Game of Thrones and first AD for feature films such as Star Wars: Episode V, VI and I; Colin Wratten, producer of The Musketeers and EastEnders, Jamie Berry, producer/director of Walking the Nile and legal expert Guy Sheppard from Wiggin LLP will be discussing the range of variables to think about before filming abroad, such as: equipment, tough climates, permits and liaising with film commissions.
This session will take place at the Production Theatre on Thursday 26 February from 12.45pm-13.30pm.
