Irish actor Pierce Brosnan is heading back to his homeland to film his next feature, I.T.
Currently in pre-production, the revenge thriller is set to start shooting in the Emerald Isle this June, according to Empire.
Stefanie Scott is also reportedly now on board to play the daughter of a successful jet set businessman (Brosnan), whose life and family come under threat when a cyber stalker sets out for revenge. The project has seen several changes since inception, including a director change – John Moore (A Good Die to Die Hard) is now in the director’s chair originally taken by Stefano Sollima – and William Wisher has rewritten Daniel Kay’s screenplay.
The film comes from LA-based Friendly Films, numbering among its producers Beau St Clair, who is Brosnan’s partner at his production company Irish DreamTime, also based in Los Angeles.
