The big screen version of Assassin’s Creed starring Michael Fassbender is gearing up for production in the UK and Malta.
The adaptation of the popular historical fiction video game has been in the pipeline for some time and sees Fassbender reunited with Macbeth co-star Marion Cotillard and director Justin Kurzel, who directed the Shakesperean tragedy, which also shot in various locations around the UK.
The film is from LA-based Regency Enterprises and is written by Adam Cooper, Bill Collage and Michael Lesslie. Recent reports have suggested that Alicia Vikander – surely the busiest actress around today – is lining up to board the project too.
