A new feature film from Hollywood producer Karen G. Cadle is heading to film in Jodhpur, India, early next year.

Unforgettable features a stellar cast of seasoned silver screen talent, including Tippi Hedren, Franco Nero and Joan Collins. Marisa Berenson and Indian actress Mahabanoo Mody-Kotwal are also lined up to appear in the feature, described by the producer as having “an old-world vibe with an Indian overtone.”

Cadle was keen to use older actors, whom she feels are under-represented in current film projects.

Talking to the press, Cadle said she chose the ‘perfect’ location as she felt India provides romance, beauty, colours and mystery, as well as the all-important financial viability for filmmakers.

The producer went on to confirm more specifics about the location as she talked to IANS at the D23 Expo in Anaheim. “We are shooting in Jodhpur. We have looked at the location and it is perfect”, Cadle said.

“The shoot will start in January or February (2016) when the weather becomes pleasant. It will be shot in a heritage hotel, which will actually be the home of my male lead.”

Cadle, who is working is working on the project with Tantric Productions in Madrid, also revealed that the script underwent a rewrite once the location had been locked down, as the screenplay had originally been set in Italy - an illustration of the vital role that a location itself can play in film and TV production.
