Top North American filming hubs share TV pilots
North American production hubs New York City, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Vancouver had equal share of this season’s US drama pilot shoots.

North American production hubs New York City, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Vancouver had equal share of this season’s US drama pilot shoots.
Each city hosted seven different drama pilots, according to figures reported by Deadline.
Toronto saw the steepest fall from last year, hosting just the one pilot – for Noah Wyle’s legal drama Perfect Citizen – compared to five in the previous season.
Out of the 38 drama pilots filmed in this round, only two filmed outside North America. Military drama For God & Country was shot in Morocco, while adventure show Searchers has picked South Africa for location filming.
Los Angeles remains the most popular location for studio-based half-hour comedies.
