Armando Iannucci is filming his new movie The Personal History of David Copperfield on location in the UK, including in London.

Armando Iannucci is filming his new movie The Personal History of David Copperfield on location in the UK, including in London.
Based on the classic novel by Charles Dickens, the film stars Dev Patel (pictured) as the eponymous Copperfield as he encounters hilarity and tragedy while navigating his way through a chaotic world.
The new movie is co-written by Iannucci with regular collaborator Simon Blackwell. The supporting cast includes Paul Whitehouse, Peter Capaldi and Hugh Laurie.
Iannucci is best known as a satirist and spent many years as showrunner of US comedy series Veep.
His black comedy movie The Death of Stalin won four British Independent Film Awards and was nominated for two Baftas. Set in Russia in the early 1950s, the movie was mainly shot in the UK.
