Jason Momoa is preparing to film a new drama for Apple in Vancouver with principal photography due to get underway on 17 September.

Comprising 10 episodes, See is an original drama commissioned by Apple, written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Francis Lawrence.

The show is set in a future where the whole human race is blind - a world that is challenged when a pair of twins is born with the ability to see.

Chernin Entertainment is producing the show with filming due to run until February.

Vancouver is a major global production centre and earlier this year became the top production hub in Canada for international location filming. In the 2016-2017 year, foreign shoots rose by just under 47% in and around the city.

A second series of Lost in Space is due to begin filming in Vancouver for Netflix in early September.
