Devils, a major new 10-part drama, is in the pipeline with a 24-week shoot due to be underway in Rome and London in late September.

The series comes from Rome-based production company Lux Vide and Sky Italia and is based on the best-seller of the same name by Guido Maria Brera.

The writing team comprises both Italian and British writers.

Devils is set in the London office of a major US bank and features an international cast including Patrick Dempsey, Alessandro Borghi, Laia Costa, Malachi Kirby and Paul Chowdhry.

Jan Michelini will direct alongside Nick Hurran; the latter will also serve as showrunner.

“The beauty of the scripts attracted first a great director of the likes of Nick Hurran, assisted by Jan Michelini, and then got on board great actors like Patrick Dempsey and Alessandro Borghi.

“Devils will be the first series ever to reveal the secrets of the new masters of the world with compelling stories, because they are still men even if they act like gods”, remarked Luca Bernabei, CEO of Lux Vide.

Established around 20 years ago, Lux Vide is a well-known European production company, having produced more than 900 primetime hours of scripted TV. Its international credits include The Bible, Coco Chanel and Medici: Masters of Florence.
