Marvel movie The Eternals is in prep to shoot in the UK later this year, with Angelina Jolie likely to star.

Marvel movie The Eternals is in prep to shoot in the UK later this year, with Angelina Jolie likely to star.
Based on a series of comic books first launched in the mid-1970s, the story is set in the distant past and follows the exploits of an alien race and their influence on early humans on Earth.
The movie will be based at one of the UK’s major studio facilities.
Marvel most recently filmed in Scotland and northern England for key scenes for Avengers: Infinity War and its follow-up Endgame (pictured).
Studio work for the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home was also filmed in the UK at Warner Bros Studios Leavesden.
Parent company Disney has a long history of UK production and has based all of the new Star Wars films at Pinewood Studios, while several of its recent live-action remakes have been shot in the UK, including Dumbo.
Sony has also picked the UK to shoot its film Morbius, which is based on a Marvel character.
