The Eddy TV series filming in Paris

Oscar winner Damien Chazelle’s follow up to the hugely successful La La Land movie will be shooting all over the French capital.

Endeavor Content, who are developing The Eddy TV series, confirmed to KFTV.com that it has started filming around the streets of Paris, and will not be shooting anywhere else.

Netflix is also backing the series, alongside Lagarde Studios’ Atlantique Productions, with a topline cast of Joanna Kulig, André Holland, Tahar Rahim and Amanda Stenberg.

Chazelle will direct two episodes, on top of executive producing. Glen Ballard, the composer and producer of Michael Jackson’s Bad, is composing the original score for the series and will also executive produce.

Written by Jack Thorne (National Treasure), The Eddy will be “set in contemporary, multi-cultural Paris revolving around a jazz club, its owner, the house bank, and the dangerous city that surrounds them,” Endeavor confirmed.

Netflix will premiere the series exclusively for subscribers worldwide.
