Kenneth Branagh is set to direct and star as Hercule Poirot in the feature

Twentieth Century Fox’s forthcoming version of Death on the Nile is setting up to film in the UK later this year.
Branagh will reprise his role of Hercule Poirot, whom he first portrayed in 2017’s starry version of Murder on the Orient Express (pictured).
A similarly A-list cast is reportedly attached to Death on the Nile, including Letitia Wright, Armie Hammer, Gal Gadot and Tom Bateman.
As with his previous Christie outing, also for Twentieth Century Fox, Branagh will be calling the shots from a screenplay by Michael Green.
The UK is one of the world’s top production hubs, with inward investment projects making a huge impact on production spend. Other features to be based in the UK so far this year include Fast & Furious 9, Enola Holmes, Tom and Jerry and Jingle Jangle.
