Disney+ series Among the Stars has shot exclusive footage at space stations around the world.

The six-part series, produced by Fulwell 73, follows NASA astronaut Captain Chris Cassidy as he embarks on one last important mission to repair a $2bn science experiment, the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, which aims to reveal the origins of the universe. But The story quickly becomes a tale about the broader team at NASA.

Featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes, intimate footage, personal video diaries and livestream footage - stationed both on earth and in space – the series takes a look at the work of the NASA engineers, flight controllers and specialists at ASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Cologne’s European Space Agency, Japan’s Aerospace Exploration Agency outside of Tokyo and the Russian Space Agency in Star City.

Fulwell 73’s Ben Turner directs and serves as executive producer, alongside Gabe Turner, Leo Pearlman, Will Gluck and Richard Schwartz.

The series premieres exclusively on Disney+ on Monday, October 6.
