Thriller crime series Last Light, starring Lost's Matthew Fox and Downtown Abbey’s Joanne Froggatt, is set to shoot in Prague.

The five-episode limited drama series is from Peacock and MGM International TV Productions, in association with Nordic Entertainment Group's Viaplay, with Film United overseeing physical production.

Dennie Gordon (Jack Ryan) will direct and executive produce all episodes and is currently operating on the ground in Prague. Fox will also executive produce alongside Entertainment 360, with Patrick Massett and John Zinman joining them as showrunners and executive producers.

Based on Alex Scarrow's novel, the drama follows Fox, a petro-chemist, stuck in the Middle East while his family are in London and Paris, as the world is in chaos. Each family member will sacrifice everything to find one another, despite the distance and the dangers that separate them.

“Just over a year ago, after recognizing the immense growth potential in the international market, we launched MGM International TV Productions with the goal of telling global stories that not only entertain, but also shed light on issues that are important to today's audiences worldwide." said Mark Burnett, Chairman of Worldwide Television at MGM.
