Warner Bros. and DC Films’ Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has wrapped filming in Hawaii.
Production on the film, starring Jason Momoa, began in June in London and at the Leavesden-based Warner Bros. Studios before heading to Oahu's Hālona Beach Cove in Hawaii.
Directed by James Wan, Momoa reprises his role in the sequel as the water warrior Aquaman also known as Arthur Curry, alongside Amber Heard who returns to play Mera. The cast is also joined by Patrick Wilson as King Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta and Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus.
David Leslie wrote the screenplay, with Peter Safran and James Wan serving as producers.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set for release on 16 December 2022.
