Dustin Hoffman drama to film in Georgia, US

Sam and Kate, starring Dustin Hoffman and Sissy Spacek, is set to begin filming in Thomasville, Georgia in February.  

The feature is artist Darren LeGallo's writing and directorial debut, with Jake Hoffman and Schuyler Fisk also to star.

Set in a small town in the heart of the country, Sam (Jake Hoffman) returns home to take care of his sick father Bill (Dustin Hoffman). However, whilst he is back in town, he begins to develop feelings for Kate (Fisk) while his father simultaneously falls for her mother, Tina (Spacek).

LeGallo will also produce alongside Shields Catlin, Orian Williams, Ford Corbett and Cindy Bru. His wife and actress Amy Adams join Stacy O’Neil as exec producers for Bond Group Entertainment.

Volition Media Partners and Bankside Films will finance the project.
