Production on Amazon Prime Video's Gen V - a spinoff of the streamer's popular action fiction series The Boys - has wrapped production in Canada.

The show's official account announced the news alongside images of the cast on Twitter: ”Yea, we’re wrappin GEN V production. No, we ain’t tellin ya when it’s coming out yet,” the tweet reads.

The show centres on young adult Supes, who are tested in The Hunger Games-style challenges at the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, run by Vought International.

The announcement also comes shortly after Vought International's account teased the refurbished institution on 9 September.

Alongside two images (entrance hall and dorm room) inside Godolkin University, the tweet reads: ”At Godolkin University, we aim to provide a comfortable environment for a new generation of heroes to learn what they're made of.

”That's why we're redesigning the student union and dorm rooms via generous contributions from donors. Be sure to schedule your fall donation today!” the tweet ends.

Gen V is created by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters. The series stars Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Chance Perdomo, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Shelley Conn, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Sean Patrick Thomas.

Production took place in Toronto and Ontario, Canada.
