The studio is to produce the threequel, which will also star Hugh Jackman's Wolverine

Deadpool 3 director, Shawn Levy, has teased a potential start date for the third Ryan Reynolds-led superhero film.
The threequel, which also stars Hugh Jackman's Wolverine in the next chapter, marks the first time the two will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox in March 2019.
Discussing the rumoured-May 2023 production start in an interview with Collider, Levy clarified: “On or about. Yep.“ Before adding: “The truth is the more digitally CG-heavy a movie is, the longer time you need in post. But obviously it's the first Deadpool movie in the MCU. There's going to be no lack of visual effects.“
Levy previously collaborated with Reynolds on both The Adam Project and Free Guy and with Jackman on Real Steel.
It is unclear where filming will take place next year but previous instalments shot predominantly in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Deadpool 3 is being co-written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Reynolds, Marvel's Kevin Feige and Simon Kinberg produce for Disney.
