Production on Village Roadshow and LuckyChap Entertainment's Untitled Ocean’s Eleven remake is set to begin this spring for Warner Bros. Pictures'.
According to a production listing via Film & Television Industry Alliance, the shoot will take place from 6 March; with filming locations to be confirmed.
Although the feature is labeled a prequel, the project summary notes it is a remake of the original Ocean’s Eleven that is set in Europe in the 1960s starring Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie, which starred starred Rat Pack members Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop - directed by Lewis Milestone.
The feature is directed by Jay Roach (Austin Powers and Meet the Parents) from a screenplay by Carrie Solomon. It is produced Gary Ross, Josey McNamara, Michelle Graham, Tom Ackerley, and Olivia Milch.
