Production on Season 2 of HBO Max's And Just Like That... has officially wrapped in New York City

Lead star Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City and its spinoff series And Just Like That... posted a picture to Instagram over the weekend to announce filming has wrapped on Season 2.

The picture features Parker and co-star Nicole Ari Parker who plays Lisa Todd Wexley on the show at the wrap party, complete with a peck on the cheek.

Posting alongside the picture, Bradshaw wrote: “Wrap parties=kissing. But not goodbye. @nicoleariparker you ALWAYS smell so good. @justlikethatmax a season of love. Crew, cast you were ALL heavenly. X, Your SJ.“

Set 11 years after the events of the 2010 film Sex and the City 2, from their friendship in their 30s to a more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s, the women of Sex and the City make their transition. In the Season 1 finale, 'Seeing the Light,' Carrie started her new podcast, which was named 'Sex and the City'. Meanwhile, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) headed for Los Angeles, and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) had a Bat Mitzvah.

And Just Like That... is developed by Michael Patrick King for HBO Max, and is created by Darren Star. It is based on writer Candace Bushnell's newspaper column and 1996 book anthology of the same name.

Development for the spinoff series began in December 2020, following the cancellation of a third film adaptation. It was given a straight-to-series order in January 2021 by HBO Max.
