Marvel's Deadpool 3 enters production in London, UK

Deadpool 3 has officially started filming in London, UK.

According to the current schedule, the production is filming at Pinewood Studios, UK which is home to many Marvel and Disney titles. A second unit is also expected to film in Vancouver, BC, Canada with dates to be confirmed. 

A post shared to Stefan Kapicic's Instagram Stories on may 24 said that production has officially started. The actor, who returns as Colossus in the threequel, posted a photo announcing: "Deadpool 3 has started production today," emphasising "confirmed."

In a plot teaser retweeted by Deadpool 2 star Lewis Tan, who appeared as Shatterstar in the sequel, hinted at the potential plot for the pic on Twitter in March this year.

The synopsis, which comes from @marvel_updat3s, says: "In Deadpool 3, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) will use Cable's (Josh Brolin) time travel machine to save Wolverine before his death in 2029 and they end up lost in the Multiverse being pursued by Mobius."

It has also been reported that the new film will bring back other Deadpool film stars like Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Rob Delaney as Peter, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Shioli Katsuna as Yukio, and Karan Soni as Dopinder. Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen have also joined the cast in unconfirmed roles.

Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 after previously working with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick penned the script with additional revisions by Reynolds, Levy, and Zeb Wells. Reynolds and Levy are also producing with Marvel boss Kevin Feige.

After Disney acquired 20th Century Studios in 2019, rights to the Deadpool character transferred to Marvel and thereby Disney.
