Another Spider-Man spin-off from Sony is set to star Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny for its upcoming film El Muerto.
According to an update on Production List, filming is set to start on August 7 in Los Angeles, California.
While additional details remain closely held, Collider reports that the film will centre on the titular character who "receives superpowers after putting on a mysterious and mystical mask" and that El Muerto will likely serve as a standalone story.
Bad Bunny will play the titular hero, while additional casting announcements are likely to be revealed in the near future.

Elsewhere, Sony and Marvel's next Spider-Man spin-off film, Madame Web, will be released in July this year.
The production filmed in Boston from July until September last year, as well as New York and Mexico.
Madame Web stars Dakota Johnson (50 Shades of Grey franchise) in the lead as the clairvoyant mutant, alongside Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria), Isabela Merced (Dora the Explorer, 2019), Tahar Rahim (The Mauritanian) and Celeste O'Connor (Ghostbusters: Afterlife).
The spin-off is directed by S.J. Clarkson (The Defenders) and is produced by Di Bonaventura Pictures's Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers series), Erik Howsam (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Snake Eyes), Marvel Studio boss Kevin Feige and Sony's executive VP Palak Patel.
Morbius writers Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, and writer-director Kerem Sanga (First Girl I Loved) co-wrote the screenplay.
