Nolita's survival horror Pacific Fear filming in French Polynesia

Nolita, whose credits include Netflix's Lost Bullet, co-produces with Darklight Content

Nolita's Pacific Fear, a French survival horror film has entered production in French Polynesia.

The film is directed by Jacques Kluger, who previously helmed the Belgian horror pic Play or Die.

Pacific Fear stars Adèle Galloy, Marilyn Lima, Marie Zabukovec (Masquerade) and Vaimiti Teiefitu.

Per Variety, the feature, which is set to be completed by early 2024, follows a group of surfer friends looking out for waves in a mysterious island that’s been erased from all maps. 

It is produced by Nolita, whose recent credits include Netflix's action franchise Lost Bullet. Darklight Content co-produces.

Pacific Fear joins Pulsar Content’s roster which includes: The Opera!, a musical starring Vincent Cassel, Fanny Ardant and Rossy De Palma; The Patience of Vulture starring Ed Skrein and Luis Guzmán; Anonymous Content’s period horror The Damning of a Country Merchant which stars Peter Sarsgaard; Céline Salette’s debut feature about Niki de Saint-Phalle, Niki, and the animated film BIM.

Pulsar Content has secured international rights to the feature. 

Pacific Fear will release in France early 2024 on the pay TV OCS.
