AMC Networks has struck a deal with SAG-AFTRA, allowing The Walking Dead spinoffs Daryl Dixon and The Ones Who Live and Interview with the Vampire to resume production.
The agreement is specific to those three shows, not a holistic agreement between the Network and SAG-AFTRA. AMC confirmed the interim agreement to Deadline, but no further comments were made.
AMC is an AMPTP authorised company, but not one of the studios involved in the current negotiations with the actors union.
Interview with a Vampire's second season, whose production halted back in July, will resume filming in Prague. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will film its second season across Europe, including France. The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, in which Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira reprise their roles as Rick and Michonne, has post-production work to resume. It filmed in Jersey City, New Jersey and Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Scott Gimple, Chief Content Officer of The Walking Dead Universe, serves as showrunner on and executive producer alongside Lincoln, Gurira, Denise Huth and Bockrath of The Ones Who Live. Gimple is also EP on Daryl Dixon, alongside showrunner David Zabel, Reedus, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath and Daniel Percival.
