Production is underway in London, UK on the third season of Gangs of London from Pulse Films

Filming on the high-octane drama will run around seven months, with several producers on board for different blocks.

Created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery, the show centres on the conflict between rival gangs and other criminal organisations in present-day London, told through the lens of Joe Cole's character Sean Wallace and Sope Dirisu's Elliot Carter/Finch, who will reprise their central roles.

Lucian Msamati will also return as Ed Dumani, along with Pippa Bennett-Warner, who plays Ed's daughter Shannon.

The Sky original series is based on the 2007 video game.

When the first episode aired in 2020, it became Sky Atlantic’s second biggest original drama launch to date, with a 7-day cumulative audience of 2.23m. It was originally designed as a film franchise, but the creators decided that an episodic format would allow them more range and detail in the exploration of the characters.

Various marketing campaigns and spinoffs have also been established on the back of the drama: in the autumn last year, a large-scale guerilla projection campaign was launched across 56 sites in the capital, while a couple of months later a graphic novel was published with a story setting between S1 and S2.

Gangs of London Season 3 was confirmed in November last year, and is expected to premiere late 2024 or early 2025.
