Mazuy's sixth feature film Portraits trompeurs stars the renowned Isabelle Huppert alongside alongside Hafsia Herzi.

The pair reunite, having worked together previously in Dans le viseur (directed by André Téchiné).

The movie began its 32-day shoot in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region of France on October 12 and is scheduled to conclude on November 30.

Portraits trompeurs, written by François Bégaudeau, Pierre Courrège, and Mazu, follows Alma, who lives alone in a beautiful townhouse, and young mother Mina, who resides in a housing estate in another town.

Both of their lives centre on visitations they make to their partners in prison. When they meet in the prison waiting room an unlikely friendship begins to blossom.

Portraits trompeurs is produced by Rectangle Proudctions' Alice Girard and Édouard Weil, and Picseyes' Xavier Plèche. Arte France Cinéma are co-producers.
