Land Of Legend which has begun filming in South Wales and Gloucestershire for five weeks according our sister site Screen.

Rupert Everett and Tamsin Greig lead the cast alongside Harry Gilby, whose previous credits include the young version of the titular author in 2019 biopic Tolkien. The cast also includes Imani Yahshua and Robyn Cara. 

Niall Johnson (Keeping Mum) directs from a screenplay by Cory Brusseau and Robert Weston, adapted from the upcoming novel by Esfandiar Ghodrati.

The story follows a scrawny and insecure misfit teen who travels through a magical portal to the Hidden Kingdom. There, he discovers his destiny is to become a prophesied warrior who will destroy an ancient evil curse.

Weston, Brusseau, Michael Riley and Sam Baldoni are producers for Straightwire Entertainment Group, alongside Baldoni Entertainment in association with Brit Film Services.
