Production on Netflix's 'Wednesday' moving to Ireland

Season two of Netflix's hit series Wednesday is reportedly moving.

Season two of the Addams' Family spin-off starring Jenna Ortega is reportedly headed to Ireland. Season one was filmed in Romania from September 2021-March 2022, sources have told Deadline. 

Production on season two is rumoured to begin in late April, 2024. Not much is known about season two, however show runners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar hinted more Addams family members may be cast. 

Similar recent moves include Amazon Studios' The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power which filmed season two in the UK. Season one was filmed in New Zealand

Elsewhere, The White Lotus season 3 is slated to begin production in Thailand in February, 2024 having previously filmed in Italy and Hawaii.
